Don’t miss this popular seminar examining legal issues impacting the land surveying profession. This year’s seminar will feature the same insightful analysis of recent legal interpretations of surveys by Massachusetts courts and related matters that is the hallmark of this program. Attorneys from Englander & Chicoine P.C. and other notable land use practitioners will discuss topics that will enable you to create a more effective survey, which may help parties avoid litigation or prevail on disputed claims. Please note that an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists anywhere other people are present, and even precautionary measures such as masking and social distancing cannot completely eliminate this risk. Any person who chooses to travel to participate in this in-person Massachusetts Association of Land Surveyors and Civil Engineers (MALSCE) seminar assumes all risks arising from that decision. All participants must agree to comply with all safety procedures established by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) as well as any other protocols put in place by MALSCE, the host sites, travel facilities, or any other applicable authorities. These precautions currently include an expectation that all seminar registrants who plan to attend are self-attesting that they are fully vaccinated against COVID-19. These requirements may be updated between now and the seminar.

Registration Information
Registration fees for in-person participants are $220/person for MALSCE members* and $330/person for non-members, and $165/person for MALSCE members* and $260/person for non-members for remote participants.
Seminar registrants will receive PDF copies of seminar handouts. In-person registrants will also be provided with a continental breakfast, two snack breaks, and lunch. Please note that a recording of this webinar will be made available for viewing for a 60-day period. By registering to participate in this webinar you are granting MALSCE permission to record any questions you ask.
*Members of CALS, MSLS, NHLSA, NYSAPLS, REBA, RISPLS and VSLS can attend for the MALSCE Member rate.

In-person meeting room capacity is limited to 60 attendees so register early.

Continuing Education 
This seminar is worth 6.5 professional development hours (subject to state-specific exclusions; seek clarification from appropriate state authorities). All seminar participants will receive a certificate documenting attendance at the end of the seminar.
