The tradition of selecting a Surveyor of the Year dates back to MALSCE’s early days and gives the association the opportunity to honor and thank a leader who has been exemplary for his or her service to MALSCE, the profession and the community.
The MALSCE Surveyor of the Year Award is an annual award meant to recognize a professional land surveyor and MALSCE member who has provided outstanding leadership for the profession. This award is solicited in conjunction with MALSCE's annual convention. An awards committee comprised of past winners solicit and select an award recipient. Current membership in MALSCE is required to be the Surveyor of the Year Award recipient. A past recipient is not eligible to win the award again.
