A block of overnight rooms for 2017 MALSCE Convention exhibitors and attendees has been reserved at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Leominster for the nights of Thursday and Friday, March 23rd and 24th. To reserve your overnight room call the hotel at 978/534-9000 and ask for reservations. When booking your room through the reservation department, ask to make a reservation under the group code MAL in order to receive the discounted MALSCE overnight room rate of $105.00 per night plus tax (single or double occupancy).
For online reservations:
All overnight room reservations must be guaranteed by a credit card for late arrival. If identified guests do not check-in, the credit card will be charged one night, room, and tax.
Enter the 2017 Plan Contest!
The MALSCE Convention Committee invites you to enter the 2017 Plan Contest! Award-winning plans will be displayed at the 2017 MALSCE Convention and noted in the MALSCE member newsletter, MALSCE News. First place winners in each category will compete in the Plan of the Year competition, held during the convention. All awards will be presented at during the the convention dinner on Friday, March 24, 2017.

Stay out of Court: Mock Trial
Plaintiff Dale Wright has filed a quiet title action against Defendant Lee Hawk to clear title to 35 acres of prime land.
Aside from questions as to the location of their common boundary, both Wright and Hawk have had conflicting surveys performed and the two surveyors will testify in support of their respective surveys.
Gary Kent, LS, Schneider Corporation, will act as the bailiff for this mock trial. This half-day program features an actual judge and lawyers, and offers a real-world scenario of what surveyors experience in a Massachusetts court room.
Leadership Panel
With topics suited for entry level professionals to seasoned managers, four leaders in the surveying and engineering professions give their opinions on a variety of questions presented by Proprietors' Council Chair, Michael Feldman, President, Feldman Land Surveyors. The panel will be comprised of the following leaders:

Reserve exhibit space for your company!
Promote your company's products and/or services to 2017 Massachusetts Association of Land Surveyors and Civil Engineers (MALSCE) Convention attendees. As an exhibitor, you're entitled to an exhibit area on the floor of the ballroom. Attendees will frequent the area between presentations and during breaks, giving vendors plenty of face-time to make connections and spread the word. Donate an item for the auction to benefit the MALSCE Education Trust!
To donate an item, simply bring it to the registration desk at the convention by 12:00 PM on Friday, March 24. If you wish to donate an item, but cannot attend the convention, contact Rich Keenan at 617/305-4110.
