MassDOT invites qualified consultants to submit proposals to provide S1 Engineering Field Surveying services. MassDOT will be using a Qualifications Based Selection (QBS) process for services outlined in the Request for Proposal (RFP), which can be viewed and downloaded on the Commonwealths' electronic procurement system (COMMBUYS) http://www.commbuys.com/ . First select Contract & Bid Search; then select Bids; and then enter "4134" in the Bid # search field.
MassDOT intends to award up to 18 contracts with contract lengths of five (5) years throughout the state to perform construction layout services for highway and bridge projects on an as needed basis. The estimated value of each contract could be between $600,000 and $2,000,000 based upon the needs of the Districts, which District(s) the consultant is contracted to work in, and the number of qualified two-person field crews the consultant is requested to provide under this contract.
