Effective January 1, 2018
New Massachusetts Deed Indexing Standards
Effective January 1, 2018, the Massachusetts Registers and Assistant Registers of Deeds Association has issued updated indexing standards. This is the fourth version of these standards; earlier iterations were promulgated in 2000, 2006 and 2008. This latest version reflects statutes, court decisions and technology that have been enacted, announced or implemented since 2008.
