The opportunity for public comment, via their web site and via the public hearings, is a great way to have both your team and your key clients discuss priorities for particular regions of the Commonwealth.
MALSCE Member Action Requested by 3/17: Please take this opportunity to provide input. See below for links and information.
MassDOT and the MBTA are updating their Capital Investment Plan (CIP) and they are requesting your thoughts and ideas for the next CIP. Their comment tool is available on the newly updated CIP webpage.
This year’s CIP will be focused on revising fiscal years 2018 – 2021 CIP, approved last year, and programming investments for FY2022. The three priorities for the CIP are:
Within each of the three priorities are sixty-two funding programs that are filled with projects addressing the most important capital needs of our transportation system.
They are accepting comments until March 17, 2017.
Submit a comment or send an e-mail
If you provide an e-mail address, you will receive a response before the Draft CIP is released in May for another round of public comment and meetings.
Please help to fill this CIP webpage collection tool, demonstrating the needs for transportation infrastructure, based on projects you are working on and based on what you see as needs in your own community.
