Congratulations to MALSCE Surveyor of the Year: Ian C. Wisuri, PLS

Ian C. Wisuri, PLS, from Beals and Thomas, Inc., was named the recipient of MALSCE's prestigious 2018 Surveyor of the Year Award during the 2019 MALSCE and NESS Convention’s Friday Annual Meeting & Awards Luncheon. This award is annually presented to a professional land surveyor who has provided outstanding leadership for the profession.

The MALSCE Awards Committee, which selected the Surveyor of the Year, was chaired by Mark Violette, of Nitsch Engineering, and comprised of fellow past Surveyor of the Year Award winners Steve Dyer, of Fieldstone Survey Services, Dana Stanley, of BSC Group, Inc., and Sean Ewald, of BSC Group, Inc.

The Committee selected Ian in recogonition of his exemplary service as an instructor for the semi-annual MALSCE Surveyor in Training and Professional Land Surveyor Refresher Courses, for his involvement with the Central Massachusetts chapter as Secretary, and in helping plan and run numerous annual Conventions.

The tradition of selecting a Surveyor of the Year dates back to MALSCE’s early days and gives the association the opportunity to honor and thank a leader who has been exemplary for his or her service to MALSCE, the profession and the community.  You can see the names of the past award recipients here.
